- 1 Kings 11 13:25 - And, behold, men passed by , and saw the carcase cast in the way, and the lion standing by the carcase : and they came and told it in the city where the old prophet dwelt .
והנה אנשׁים עברים ויראו את־הנבלה משׁלכת בדרך ואת־האריה עמד אצל הנבלה ויבאו וידברו בעיר אשׁר הנביא הזקן ישׁב בה - 2 Samuel 10 23:20 - And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man , of Kabzeel, who had done many acts, he slew two lionlike men of Moab : he went down also and slew a lion in the midst of a pit in time of snow :
ובניהו בנ־יהוידע בנ־אישׁ־חי רב־פעלים מקבצאל הוא הכה את שׁני אראל מואב והוא ירד והכה את־האריה בתוך הבאר ביום השׁלג - 2 Kings 12 17:26 - Wherefore they spake to the king of Assyria, saying , The nations which thou hast removed , and placed in the cities of Samaria, know not the manner of the God of the land : therefore he hath sent lions among them, and, behold, they slay them, because they know not the manner of the God of the land.
ויאמרו למלך אשׁור לאמר הגוים אשׁר הגלית ותושׁב בערי שׁמרון לא ידעו את־משׁפט אלהי הארץ וישׁלח־בם את־האריות והנם ממיתים אותם כאשׁר אינם ידעים את־משׁפט אלהי הארץ - 2 Kings 12 15:25 - But Pekah the son of Remaliah, a captain of his, conspired against him, and smote him in Samaria, in the palace of the king's house, with Argob and Arieh, and with him fifty men of the Gileadites : and he killed him, and reigned in his room.
