- 2 Chronicles 14 19:8 - Moreover in Jerusalem did Jehoshaphat set of the Levites, and of the priests, and of the chief of the fathers of Israel, for the judgment of the LORD, and for controversies, when they returned to Jerusalem.
וגם בירושׁלם העמיד יהושׁפט מנ־הלוים והכהנים ומראשׁי האבות לישׂראל למשׁפט יהוה ולריב וישׁבו ירושׁלם - 2 Chronicles 14 34:30 - And the king went up into the house of the LORD, and all the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the priests, and the Levites, and all the people, great and small : and he read in their ears all the words of the book of the covenant that was found in the house of the LORD.
ויעל המלך בית־יהוה וכל־אישׁ יהודה וישׁבי ירושׁלם והכהנים והלוים וכל־העם מגדול ועד־קטן ויקרא באזניהם את־כל־דברי ספר הברית הנמצא בית יהוה - Deuteronomy 5 19:11 - But if any man hate his neighbour, and lie in wait for him, and rise up against him, and smite him mortally that he die , and fleeth into one of these cities :
וכי־יהיה אישׁ שׂנא לרעהו וארב לו וקם עליו והכהו נפשׁ ומת ונס אל־אחת הערים האל - 2 Samuel 10 15:14 - And David said unto all his servants that were with him at Jerusalem, Arise , and let us flee ; for we shall not else escape from Absalom : make speed to depart , lest he overtake us suddenly , and bring evil upon us, and smite the city with the edge of the sword.
ויאמר דוד לכל־עבדיו אשׁר־אתו בירושׁלם קומו ונברחה כי לא־תהיה־לנו פליטה מפני אבשׁלום מהרו ללכת פנ־ימהר והשׂגנו והדיח עלינו את־הרעה והכה העיר לפי־חרב - Jeremiah 24 23:34 - And as for the prophet, and the priest, and the people, that shall say , The burden of the LORD, I will even punish that man and his house.
