- Deuteronomy 5 22:24 - Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die ; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city ; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour's wife : so thou shalt put away evil from among you.
והוצאתם את־שׁניהם אל־שׁער העיר ההוא וסקלתם אתם באבנים ומתו את־הנער על־דבר אשׁר לא־צעקה בעיר ואת־האישׁ על־דבר אשׁר־ענה את־אשׁת רעהו ובערת הרע מקרבך - Numbers 4 25:8 - And he went after the man of Israel into the tent, and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her belly. So the plague was stayed from the children of Israel.
