- Jeremiah 24 16:9 - For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel ; Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place in your eyes, and in your days, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride.
כי כה אמר יהוה צבאות אלהי ישׂראל הנני משׁבית מנ־המקום הזה לעיניכם ובימיכם קול שׂשׂון וקול שׂמחה קול חתן וקול כלה - Joel 29 1:2 - Hear this, ye old men, and give ear , all ye inhabitants of the land. Hath this been in your days, or even in the days of your fathers ?
שׁמעו־זאת הזקנים והאזינו כל יושׁבי הארץ ההיתה זאת בימיכם ואם בימי אבתיכם - Habakkuk 35 1:5 - Behold ye among the heathen, and regard , and wonder marvellously : for I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe , though it be told you.
