- Deuteronomy 5 15:11 - For the poor shall never cease out of the land : therefore I command thee, saying , Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.
כי לא־יחדל אביון מקרב הארץ על־כן אנכי מצוך לאמר פתח תפתח את־ידך לאחיך לעניך ולאבינך בארצך - 1 Kings 11 15:19 - There is a league between me and thee, and between my father and thy father : behold, I have sent unto thee a present of silver and gold ; come and break thy league with Baasha king of Israel, that he may depart from me.
