- Leviticus 3 26:39 - And they that are left of you shall pine away in their iniquity in your enemies ' lands ; and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine away with them.
והנשׁארים בכם ימקו בעונם בארצת איביכם ואף בעונת אבתם אתם ימקו - Ezekiel 26 4:17 - That they may want bread and water, and be astonied one with another, and consume away for their iniquity.
למען יחסרו לחם ומים ונשׁמו אישׁ ואחיו ונמקו בעונם - Ezekiel 26 39:23 - And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity : because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies : so fell they all by the sword.
