- Psalms 19 9:3 - When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence.
בשׁוב־אויבי אחור יכשׁלו ויאבדו מפניך - Jeremiah 24 31:9 - They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble : for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.
בבכי יבאו ובתחנונים אובילם אוליכם אל־נחלי מים בדרך ישׁר לא יכשׁלו בה כי־הייתי לישׂראל לאב ואפרים בכרי הוא - Jeremiah 24 8:12 - Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination ? nay, they were not at all ashamed , neither could they blush : therefore shall they fall among them that fall : in the time of their visitation they shall be cast down , saith the LORD.
