- Ezekiel 26 39:23 - And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity : because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies : so fell they all by the sword.
וידעו הגוים כי בעונם גלו בית־ישׂראל על אשׁר מעלו־בי ואסתר פני מהם ואתנם ביד צריהם ויפלו בחרב כלם - Ezekiel 26 39:24 - According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them.
כטמאתם וכפשׁעיהם עשׂיתי אתם ואסתר פני מהם - Esther 17 9:31 - To confirm these days of Purim in their times appointed, according as Mordecai the Jew and Esther the queen had enjoined them, and as they had decreed for themselves and for their seed, the matters of the fastings and their cry.
