- Daniel 27 5:12 - Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and shewing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar : now let Daniel be called , and he will shew the interpretation.
כל־קבל די רוח יתירה ומנדע ושׂכלתנו מפשׁר חלמין ואחוית אחידן ומשׁרא קטרין השׁתכחת בה בדניאל די־מלכא שׂמ־שׁמה בלטשׁאצר כען דניאל יתקרי ופשׁרה יהחוה - Daniel 27 5:11 - There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods ; and in the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, I say, thy father, made master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers ;
איתי גבר במלכותך די רוח אלהין קדישׁין בה וביומי אבוך נהירו ושׂכלתנו וחכמה כחכמת־אלהין השׁתכחת בה ומלכא נבכדנצר אבוך רב חרטמין אשׁפין כשׂדאין גזרין הקימה אבוך מלכא - Daniel 27 5:14 - I have even heard of thee, that the spirit of the gods is in thee, and that light and understanding and excellent wisdom is found in thee.
ושׁמעת עליך די רוח אלהין בך ונהירו ושׂכלתנו וחכמה יתירה השׁתכחת בך שְׁמַע Hear, obey [8754] רוּחַ Mind, spirit, wind אֱלָהּ God, god עַל About, against, concern.. נְהִיר Light שׇׂכְלְתָנוּ Understanding יַתִּיר Exceeding(-ly), excellent חׇכְמָה Wisdom שְׁכַח Find [8728] - Daniel 27 6:4 - Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom ; but they could find none occasion nor fault ; forasmuch as he was faithful , neither was there any error or fault found in him.
אדין סרכיא ואחשׁדרפניא הוו בעין עלה להשׁכחה לדניאל מצד מלכותא וכל־עלה ושׁחיתה לא־יכלין להשׁכחה כל־קבל די־מהימן הוא וכל־שׁלו ושׁחיתה לא השׁתכחת עלוהי - Daniel 27 6:22 - My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions ' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.
