- Psalms 19 81:8 - Hear , O my people, and I will testify unto thee: O Israel, if thou wilt hearken unto me;
שׁמע עמי ואעידה בך ישׂראל אמ־תשׁמע־לי שָׁמַע × attentively, call (ga.. [8798] עַם nation, people. folk, men Folk, men, nation, people עוּד Admonish, charge, earne.. [8686] יִשְׂרָאֵל Israel שָׁמַע × attentively, call (ga.. [8799] - Jeremiah 24 6:10 - To whom shall I speak , and give warning , that they may hear ? behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they cannot hearken : behold, the word of the LORD is unto them a reproach ; they have no delight in it.
על־מי אדברה ואעידה וישׁמעו הנה ערלה אזנם ולא יוכלו להקשׁיב הנה דבר־יהוה היה להם לחרפה לא יחפצו־בו - Nehemiah 16 13:21 - Then I testified against them, and said unto them, Why lodge ye about the wall ? if ye do so again , I will lay hands on you. From that time forth came they no more on the sabbath.
ואעידה בהם ואמרה אליהם מדוע אתם לנים נגד החומה אמ־תשׁנו יד אשׁלח בכם מנ־העת ההיא לא־באו בשׁבת - Nehemiah 16 13:15 - In those days saw I in Judah some treading wine presses on the sabbath, and bringing in sheaves, and lading asses ; as also wine, grapes, and figs, and all manner of burdens, which they brought into Jerusalem on the sabbath day : and I testified against them in the day wherein they sold victuals.
