- 1 Samuel 9 7:9 - And Samuel took a sucking lamb, and offered it for a burnt offering wholly unto the LORD : and Samuel cried unto the LORD for Israel ; and the LORD heard him.
ויקח שׁמואל טלה חלב אחד ויעלה עולה כליל ליהוה ויזעק שׁמואל אל־יהוה בעד ישׂראל ויענהו יהוה - Job 18 12:4 - I am as one mocked of his neighbour, who calleth upon God, and he answereth him: the just upright man is laughed to scorn.
שׂחק לרעהו אהיה קרא לאלוה ויענהו שׂחוק צדיק תמים - 2 Kings 12 1:10 - And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.
