- Jeremiah 24 36:21 - So the king sent Jehudi to fetch the roll : and he took it out of Elishama the scribe's chamber. And Jehudi read it in the ears of the king, and in the ears of all the princes which stood beside the king.
וישׁלח המלך את־יהודי לקחת את־המגלה ויקחה מלשׁכת אלישׁמע הספר ויקראה יהודי באזני המלך ובאזני כל־השׂרים העמדים מעל המלך - 2 Kings 12 22:8 - And Hilkiah the high priest said unto Shaphan the scribe , I have found the book of the law in the house of the LORD. And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan, and he read it.
ויאמר חלקיהו הכהן הגדול על־שׁפן הספר ספר התורה מצאתי בבית יהוה ויתן חלקיה את־הספר אל־שׁפן ויקראהו - Isaiah 23 37:14 - And Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it: and Hezekiah went up unto the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD.
ויקח חזקיהו את־הספרים מיד המלאכים ויקראהו ויעל בית יהוה ויפרשׂהו חזקיהו לפני יהוה - 2 Kings 12 22:10 - And Shaphan the scribe shewed the king, saying , Hilkiah the priest hath delivered me a book. And Shaphan read it before the king.
