- 2 Kings 12 11:19 - And he took the rulers over hundreds, and the captains, and the guard , and all the people of the land ; and they brought down the king from the house of the LORD, and came by the way of the gate of the guard to the king's house. And he sat on the throne of the kings.
ויקח את־שׂרי המאות ואת־הכרי ואת־הרצים ואת כל־עם הארץ וירידו את־המלך מבית יהוה ויבואו דרכ־שׁער הרצים בית המלך וישׁב על־כסא המלכים - Joshua 6 10:27 - And it came to pass at the time of the going down of the sun, that Joshua commanded , and they took them down off the trees, and cast them into the cave wherein they had been hid , and laid great stones in the cave's mouth, which remain until this very day.
ויהי לעת בוא השׁמשׁ צוה יהושׁע וירידום מעל העצים וישׁלכם אל־המערה אשׁר נחבאו־שׁם וישׂמו אבנים גדלות על־פי המערה עד־עצם היום הזה - Joshua 6 8:29 - And the king of Ai he hanged on a tree until eventide : and as soon as the sun was down , Joshua commanded that they should take his carcase down from the tree, and cast it at the entering of the gate of the city, and raise thereon a great heap of stones, that remaineth unto this day.
ואת־מלך העי תלה על־העץ עד־עת הערב וכבוא השׁמשׁ צוה יהושׁע וירידו את־נבלתו מנ־העץ וישׁליכו אותה אל־פתח שׁער העיר ויקימו עליו גל־אבנים גדול עד היום הזה
