- Numbers 4 30:6 - And if she had at all an husband, when she vowed, or uttered ought out of her lips, wherewith she bound her soul ;
ואמ־היו תהיה לאישׁ ונדריה עליה או מבטא שׂפתיה אשׁר אסרה על־נפשׁה - Numbers 4 30:9 - But every vow of a widow, and of her that is divorced , wherewith they have bound their souls, shall stand against her.
ונדר אלמנה וגרושׁה כל אשׁר־אסרה על־נפשׁה יקום עליה נֶדֶר Vow(-ed) אַלְמָנָה Desolate house (palace).. גָּרַשׁ Cast up (out), divorced.. [8803] אָסַר Bind, fast, gird, harne.. [8804] נֶפֶשׁ Any, appetite, beast, b.. קוּם Abide, accomplish, × be.. [8799] - Deuteronomy 5 12:26 - Only thy holy things which thou hast, and thy vows, thou shalt take , and go unto the place which the LORD shall choose :
רק קדשׁיך אשׁר־יהיו לך ונדריך תשׂא ובאת אל־המקום אשׁר־יבחר יהוה - Malachi 39 1:14 - But cursed be the deceiver , which hath in his flock a male, and voweth , and sacrificeth unto the Lord a corrupt thing : for I am a great King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen.
וארור נוכל וישׁ בעדרו זכר ונדר וזבח משׁחת לאדני כי מלך גדול אני אמר יהוה צבאות ושׁמי נורא בגוים - 2 Kings 12 3:11 - But Jehoshaphat said , Is there not here a prophet of the LORD, that we may enquire of the LORD by him?
