- Numbers 4 30:9 - But every vow of a widow, and of her that is divorced , wherewith they have bound their souls, shall stand against her.
ונדר אלמנה וגרושׁה כל אשׁר־אסרה על־נפשׁה יקום עליה נֶדֶר Vow(-ed) אַלְמָנָה Desolate house (palace).. גָּרַשׁ Cast up (out), divorced.. [8803] אָסַר Bind, fast, gird, harne.. [8804] נֶפֶשׁ Any, appetite, beast, b.. קוּם Abide, accomplish, × be.. [8799] - Leviticus 3 21:14 - A widow, or a divorced woman , or profane, or an harlot , these shall he not take : but he shall take a virgin of his own people to wife.
אלמנה וגרושׁה וחללה זנה את־אלה לא יקח כי אמ־בתולה מעמיו יקח אשׁה - Leviticus 3 22:13 - But if the priest's daughter be a widow, or divorced , and have no child, and is returned unto her father's house, as in her youth, she shall eat of her father's meat : but there shall no stranger eat thereof.
