- 2 Kings 12 10:24 - And when they went in to offer sacrifices and burnt offerings, Jehu appointed fourscore men without, and said , If any of the men whom I have brought into your hands escape , he that letteth him go, his life shall be for the life of him.
ויבאו לעשׂות זבחים ועלות ויהוא שׂמ־לו בחוץ שׁמנים אישׁ ויאמר האישׁ אשׁר־ימלט מנ־האנשׁים אשׁר אני מביא על־ידיכם נפשׁו תחת נפשׁו - Exodus 2 10:25 - And Moses said , Thou must give us also sacrifices and burnt offerings, that we may sacrifice unto the LORD our God.
ויאמר משׁה גמ־אתה תתן בידנו זבחים ועלות ועשׂינו ליהוה אלהינו - 2 Chronicles 14 2:4 - Behold, I build an house to the name of the LORD my God, to dedicate it to him, and to burn before him sweet incense, and for the continual shewbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts of the LORD our God. This is an ordinance for ever to Israel.
הנה אני בונה־בית לשׁם יהוה אלהי להקדישׁ לו להקטיר לפניו קטרת־סמים ומערכת תמיד ועלות לבקר ולערב לשׁבתות ולחדשׁים ולמועדי יהוה אלהינו לעולם זאת על־ישׂראל
