ולתתך עליון על כל־הגוים אשׁר עשׂה לתהלה ולשׁם ולתפארת ולהיתך עמ־קדשׁ ליהוה אלהיך כאשׁר דבר - Genesis 1 10:21 - Unto Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were children born .

הנה אני בונה־בית לשׁם יהוה אלהי להקדישׁ לו להקטיר לפניו קטרת־סמים ומערכת תמיד ועלות לבקר ולערב לשׁבתות ולחדשׁים ולמועדי יהוה אלהינו לעולם זאת על־ישׂראל - 1 Chronicles 13 16:35 - And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together , and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise.
