- Proverbs 20 23:3 - Be not desirous of his dainties : for they are deceitful meat.
אל־תתאו למטעמותיו והוא לחם כזבים אָוָה Covet, (greatly) desire.. [8691] מַטְעַם Dainty (meat), savoury .. כָּזָב Deceitful, false, leasi.. לֶחֶם (shew-)bread, × eat, fo.. - Amos 30 2:4 - Thus saith the LORD ; For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have despised the law of the LORD, and have not kept his commandments, and their lies caused them to err , after the which their fathers have walked :
כה אמר יהוה על־שׁלשׁה פשׁעי יהודה ועל־ארבעה לא אשׁיבנו על־מאסם את־תורת יהוה וחקיו לא שׁמרו ויתעום כזביהם אשׁר־הלכו אבותם אחריהם - Proverbs 20 21:28 - A false witness shall perish : but the man that heareth speaketh constantly.
עד־כזבים יאבד ואישׁ שׁומע לנצח ידבר - Proverbs 20 19:9 - A false witness shall not be unpunished , and he that speaketh lies shall perish .

[8799] - Numbers 4 25:18 - For they vex you with their wiles, wherewith they have beguiled you in the matter of Peor, and in the matter of Cozbi, the daughter of a prince of Midian, their sister, which was slain in the day of the plague for Peor's sake.
כי צררים הם לכם בנכליהם אשׁר־נכלו לכם על־דבר־פעור ועל־דבר כזבי בת־נשׂיא מדין אחתם המכה ביומ־המגפה על־דבר־פעור
