- Numbers 4 3:38 - But those that encamp before the tabernacle toward the east, even before the tabernacle of the congregation eastward, shall be Moses, and Aaron and his sons, keeping the charge of the sanctuary for the charge of the children of Israel ; and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death .
והחנים לפני המשׁכן קדמה לפני אהל־מועד מזרחה משׁה ואהרן ובניו שׁמרים משׁמרת המקדשׁ למשׁמרת בני ישׂראל והזר הקרב יומת - Numbers 4 19:9 - And a man that is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up without the camp in a clean place, and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for a water of separation : it is a purification for sin.
