- Lamentations 25 1:17 - Zion spreadeth forth her hands, and there is none to comfort her: the LORD hath commanded concerning Jacob, that his adversaries should be round about him: Jerusalem is as a menstruous woman among them.
פרשׂה ציון בידיה אין מנחם לה צוה יהוה ליעקב סביביו צריו היתה ירושׁלם לנדה ביניהם - Numbers 4 19:20 - But the man that shall be unclean , and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the congregation, because he hath defiled the sanctuary of the LORD : the water of separation hath not been sprinkled upon him; he is unclean.
ואישׁ אשׁר־יטמא ולא יתחטא ונכרתה הנפשׁ ההוא מתוך הקהל כי את־מקדשׁ יהוה טמא מי נדה לא־זרק עליו טמא הוא - Ezekiel 26 7:20 - As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty : but they made the images of their abominations and of their detestable things therein: therefore have I set it far from them.
וצבי עדיו לגאון שׂמהו וצלמי תועבתם שׁקוציהם עשׂו בו על־כן נתתיו להם לנדה - 2 Chronicles 14 29:5 - And said unto them, Hear me, ye Levites, sanctify now yourselves, and sanctify the house of the LORD God of your fathers, and carry forth the filthiness out of the holy place.
