- Jeremiah 24 7:5 - For if ye throughly amend your ways and your doings ; if ye throughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbour ;
כי אמ־היטיב תיטיבו את־דרכיכם ואת־מעלליכם אמ־עשׂו תעשׂו משׁפט בין אישׁ ובין רעהו - Jeremiah 24 21:12 - O house of David, thus saith the LORD ; Execute judgment in the morning, and deliver him that is spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor , lest my fury go out like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.
בית דוד כה אמר יהוה דינו לבקר משׁפט והצילו גזול מיד עושׁק פנ־תצא כאשׁ חמתי ובערה ואין מכבה מפני רע מעלליהם - Jeremiah 24 44:22 - So that the LORD could no longer bear , because of the evil of your doings, and because of the abominations which ye have committed ; therefore is your land a desolation, and an astonishment, and a curse, without an inhabitant , as at this day.
ולא־יוכל יהוה עוד לשׂאת מפני רע מעלליכם מפני התועבת אשׁר עשׂיתם ותהי ארצכם לחרבה ולשׁמה ולקללה מאין יושׁב כהיום הזה - Psalms 19 78:7 - That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments :
וישׂימו באלהים כסלם ולא ישׁכחו מעללי־אל ומצותיו ינצרו - Isaiah 23 3:8 - For Jerusalem is ruined , and Judah is fallen : because their tongue and their doings are against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of his glory.
כי כשׁלה ירושׁלם ויהודה נפל כי־לשׁונם ומעלליהם אל־יהוה למרות עני כבודו
