- Joshua 6 14:4 - For the children of Joseph were two tribes, Manasseh and Ephraim : therefore they gave no part unto the Levites in the land, save cities to dwell in, with their suburbs for their cattle and for their substance.
כי־היו בני־יוסף שׁני מטות מנשׁה ואפרים ולא־נתנו חלק ללוים בארץ כי אמ־ערים לשׁבת ומגרשׁיהם למקניהם ולקנינם - Genesis 1 34:23 - Shall not their cattle and their substance and every beast of theirs be ours? only let us consent unto them, and they will dwell with us.
