- Genesis 1 26:28 - And they said , We saw certainly that the LORD was with thee: and we said , Let there be now an oath betwixt us, even betwixt us and thee, and let us make a covenant with thee;
ויאמרו ראו ראינו כי־היה יהוה עמך ונאמר תהי נא אלה בינותינו בינינו ובינך ונכרתה ברית עמך - Leviticus 3 7:25 - For whosoever eateth the fat of the beast, of which men offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD, even the soul that eateth it shall be cut off from his people.
כי כל־אכל חלב מנ־הבהמה אשׁר יקריב ממנה אשׁה ליהוה ונכרתה הנפשׁ האכלת מעמיה - Zechariah 38 9:10 - And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off : and he shall speak peace unto the heathen : and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from the river even to the ends of the earth.
והכרתי־רכב מאפרים וסוס מירושׁלם ונכרתה קשׁת מלחמה ודבר שׁלום לגוים ומשׁלו מים עד־ים ומנהר עד־אפסי־ארץ - Numbers 4 9:13 - But the man that is clean, and is not in a journey, and forbeareth to keep the passover, even the same soul shall be cut off from among his people : because he brought not the offering of the LORD in his appointed season, that man shall bear his sin.
והאישׁ אשׁר־הוא טהור ובדרך לא־היה וחדל לעשׂות הפסח ונכרתה הנפשׁ ההוא מעמיה כי קרבן יהוה לא הקריב במעדו חטאו ישׂא האישׁ ההוא - Numbers 4 19:20 - But the man that shall be unclean , and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the congregation, because he hath defiled the sanctuary of the LORD : the water of separation hath not been sprinkled upon him; he is unclean.
