- 1 Samuel 9 23:1 - Then they told David, saying , Behold, the Philistines fight against Keilah, and they rob the threshingfloors.
ויגדו לדוד לאמר הנה פלשׁתים נלחמים בקעילה והמה שׁסים את־הגרנות - 1 Samuel 9 17:19 - Now Saul, and they, and all the men of Israel, were in the valley of Elah, fighting with the Philistines.

ויאמר אליהם יהושׁע אל־תיראו ואל־תחתו חזקו ואמצו כי ככה יעשׂה יהוה לכל־איביכם אשׁר אתם נלחמים אותם - Jeremiah 24 21:4 - Thus saith the LORD God of Israel ; Behold, I will turn back the weapons of war that are in your hands, wherewith ye fight against the king of Babylon, and against the Chaldeans, which besiege you without the walls, and I will assemble them into the midst of this city.

וחיל מלכ־בבל נלחמים על־ירושׁלם ועל כל־ערי יהודה הנותרות אל־לכישׁ ואל־עזקה כי הנה נשׁארו בערי יהודה ערי מבצר
