- Jeremiah 24 22:21 - I spake unto thee in thy prosperity ; but thou saidst , I will not hear . This hath been thy manner from thy youth, that thou obeyedst not my voice.
דברתי אליך בשׁלותיך אמרת לא אשׁמע זה דרכך מנעוריך כי לא־שׁמעת בקולי - Job 18 19:26 - And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God :
ואחר עורי נקפו־זאת ומבשׂרי אחזה אלוה אַחַר After (that, -ward), ag.. עוֹר Hide, leather, skin נָקַף [8765] בָּשָׂר Body, (fat, lean) flesh.. חָזָה Behold, look, prophesy,.. [8799] אֱלוֹהַּ a deity God, god - Leviticus 3 22:13 - But if the priest's daughter be a widow, or divorced , and have no child, and is returned unto her father's house, as in her youth, she shall eat of her father's meat : but there shall no stranger eat thereof.
ובת־כהן כי תהיה אלמנה וגרושׁה וזרע אין לה ושׁבה אל־בית אביה כנעוריה מלחם אביה תאכל וכל־זר לא־יאכל בו - Isaiah 23 47:15 - Thus shall they be unto thee with whom thou hast laboured , even thy merchants , from thy youth : they shall wander every one to his quarter ; none shall save thee.
