- Jeremiah 24 32:29 - And the Chaldeans, that fight against this city, shall come and set fire on this city, and burn it with the houses, upon whose roofs they have offered incense unto Baal, and poured out drink offerings unto other gods, to provoke me to anger .
ובאו הכשׂדים הנלחמים על־העיר הזאת והציתו את־העיר הזאת באשׁ ושׂרפוה ואת הבתים אשׁר קטרו על־גגותיהם לבעל והסכו נסכים לאלהים אחרים למען הכעסני - Nehemiah 16 8:16 - So the people went forth , and brought them, and made themselves booths, every one upon the roof of his house, and in their courts, and in the courts of the house of God, and in the street of the water gate, and in the street of the gate of Ephraim.
