- Esther 17 9:19 - Therefore the Jews of the villages, that dwelt in the unwalled towns, made the fourteenth day of the month Adar a day of gladness and feasting, and a good day, and of sending portions one to another.
על־כן היהודים הפרוזים הישׁבים בערי הפרזות עשׂים את יום ארבעה עשׂר לחדשׁ אדר שׂמחה ומשׁתה ויום טוב ומשׁלוח מנות אישׁ לרעהו - Ezekiel 26 38:11 - And thou shalt say , I will go up to the land of unwalled villages ; I will go to them that are at rest , that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,
ואמרת אעלה על־ארץ פרזות אבוא השׁקטים ישׁבי לבטח כלם ישׁבים באין חומה ובריח ודלתים אין להם - Zechariah 38 2:4 - And said unto him, Run , speak to this young man, saying , Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein :
ויאמר אלו רץ דבר אל־הנער הלז לאמר פרזות תשׁב ירושׁלם מרב אדם ובהמה בתוכה - Habakkuk 35 3:14 - Thou didst strike through with his staves the head of his villages : they came out as a whirlwind to scatter me: their rejoicing was as to devour the poor secretly.
