- Isaiah 23 27:1 - In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent ; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.
ביום ההוא יפקד יהוה בחרבו הקשׁה והגדולה והחזקה על לויתן נחשׁ ברח ועל לויתן נחשׁ עקלתון והרג את־התנין אשׁר בים - Deuteronomy 5 17:5 - Then shalt thou bring forth that man or that woman, which have committed that wicked thing, unto thy gates, even that man or that woman, and shalt stone them with stones, till they die .
והוצאת את־האישׁ ההוא או את־האשׁה ההוא אשׁר עשׂו את־הדבר הרע הזה אל־שׁעריך את־האישׁ או את־האשׁה וסקלתם באבנים ומתו - Deuteronomy 5 13:10 - And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die ; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
וסקלתו באבנים ומת כי בקשׁ להדיחך מעל יהוה אלהיך המוציאך מארץ מצרים מבית עבדים - Exodus 2 9:23 - And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven : and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground ; and the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt.
ויט משׁה את־מטהו על־השׁמים ויהוה נתן קלת וברד ותהלך אשׁ ארצה וימטר יהוה ברד על־ארץ מצרים - Exodus 2 9:34 - And when Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunders were ceased , he sinned yet more , and hardened his heart, he and his servants.
וירא פרעה כי־חדל המטר והברד והקלת ויסף לחטא ויכבד לבו הוא ועבדיו
