בתוכחות על־עון יסרת אישׁ ותמס כעשׁ חמודו אך הבל כל־אדם סלה - Proverbs 20 6:23 - For the commandment is a lamp ; and the law is light ; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life :
כי נר מצוה ותורה אור ודרך חיים תוכחות מוסר - Psalms 19 38:14 - Thus I was as a man that heareth not, and in whose mouth are no reproofs.
