- Ezra 15 3:2 - Then stood up Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and his brethren the priests, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and his brethren, and builded the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt offerings thereon, as it is written in the law of Moses the man of God.
ויקם ישׁוע בנ־יוצדק ואחיו הכהנים וזרבבל בנ־שׁאלתיאל ואחיו ויבנו את־מזבח אלהי ישׂראל להעלות עליו עלות ככתוב בתורת משׁה אישׁ־האלהים - Exodus 2 40:10 - And thou shalt anoint the altar of the burnt offering, and all his vessels, and sanctify the altar : and it shall be an altar most holy.
ומשׁחת את־מזבח העלה ואת־כל־כליו וקדשׁת את־המזבח והיה המזבח קדשׁ קדשׁים - 2 Kings 12 18:22 - But if ye say unto me, We trust in the LORD our God : is not that he, whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah hath taken away , and hath said to Judah and Jerusalem, Ye shall worship before this altar in Jerusalem ?
וכי־תאמרון אלי אל־יהוה אלהינו בטחנו הלוא־הוא אשׁר הסיר חזקיהו את־במתיו ואת־מזבחתיו ויאמר ליהודה ולירושׁלם לפני המזבח הזה תשׁתחוו בירושׁלם - Exodus 2 40:5 - And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the hanging of the door to the tabernacle.
ונתתה את־מזבח הזהב לקטרת לפני ארון העדת ושׂמת את־מסך הפתח למשׁכן - Exodus 2 34:13 - But ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves :
כי את־מזבחתם תתצון ואת־מצבתם תשׁברון ואת־אשׁריו תכרתון
