- Judges 7 9:39 - And Gaal went out before the men of Shechem, and fought with Abimelech.
ויצא געל לפני בעלי שׁכם וילחם באבימלך גַּעַל Gaal יָצָא × after, appear, × assu.. [8799] פָּנִים presence Accept, (a-, be-)fore(.. בַּעַל Archer, babbler, bir.. שְׁכֶם Shechem לָחַם Devour, eat, × ever, fi.. [8735] אֲבִימֶלֶךְ Abimelech - 2 Chronicles 14 17:3 - And the LORD was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the first ways of his father David, and sought not unto Baalim ;
ויהי יהוה עמ־יהושׁפט כי הלך בדרכי דויד אביו הראשׁנים ולא דרשׁ לבעלים - Exodus 2 22:11 - Then shall an oath of the LORD be between them both, that he hath not put his hand unto his neighbour's goods ; and the owner of it shall accept thereof, and he shall not make it good .
שׁבעת יהוה תהיה בין שׁניהם אמ־לא שׁלח ידו במלאכת רעהו ולקח בעליו ולא ישׁלם - Judges 7 2:11 - And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and served Baalim :
ויעשׂו בני־ישׂראל את־הרע בעיני יהוה ויעבדו את־הבעלים - 1 Kings 11 18:18 - And he answered , I have not troubled Israel ; but thou, and thy father's house, in that ye have forsaken the commandments of the LORD, and thou hast followed Baalim.
