- Zechariah 38 8:11 - But now I will not be unto the residue of this people as in the former days, saith the LORD of hosts.
ועתה לא כימים הראשׁנים אני לשׁארית העם הזה נאם יהוה צבאות - Nehemiah 16 5:15 - But the former governors that had been before me were chargeable unto the people, and had taken of them bread and wine, beside forty shekels of silver ; yea, even their servants bare rule over the people : but so did not I, because of the fear of God.
והפחות הראשׁנים אשׁר־לפני הכבידו על־העם ויקחו מהם בלחם ויין אחר כספ־שׁקלים ארבעים גם נעריהם שׁלטו על־העם ואני לא־עשׂיתי כן מפני יראת אלהים - Numbers 4 6:12 - And he shall consecrate unto the LORD the days of his separation, and shall bring a lamb of the first year for a trespass offering : but the days that were before shall be lost , because his separation was defiled .
והזיר ליהוה את־ימי נזרו והביא כבשׂ בנ־שׁנתו לאשׁם והימים הראשׁנים יפלו כי טמא נזרו - Zechariah 38 1:4 - Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets have cried , saying , Thus saith the LORD of hosts ; Turn ye now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings : but they did not hear , nor hearken unto me, saith the LORD.
אל־תהיו כאבתיכם אשׁר קראו־אליהם הנביאים הראשׁנים לאמר כה אמר יהוה צבאות שׁובו נא מדרכיכם הרעים ומעליליכם הרעים ולא שׁמעו ולא־הקשׁיבו אלי נאמ־יהוה - 2 Chronicles 14 25:26 - Now the rest of the acts of Amaziah, first and last, behold, are they not written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel ?
