- Esther 17 9:2 - The Jews gathered themselves together in their cities throughout all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus, to lay hand on such as sought their hurt : and no man could withstand them ; for the fear of them fell upon all people.
נקהלו היהודים בעריהם בכל־מדינות המלך אחשׁורושׁ לשׁלח יד במבקשׁי רעתם ואישׁ לא־עמד לפניהם כי־נפל פחדם על־כל־העמים - 1 Chronicles 13 9:2 - Now the first inhabitants that dwelt in their possessions in their cities were, the Israelites, the priests, Levites, and the Nethinims.
והיושׁבים הראשׁנים אשׁר באחזתם בעריהם ישׂראל הכהנים הלוים והנתינים - Deuteronomy 5 19:1 - When the LORD thy God hath cut off the nations, whose land the LORD thy God giveth thee, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their cities, and in their houses ;
