- 2 Samuel 10 10:19 - And when all the kings that were servants to Hadarezer saw that they were smitten before Israel, they made peace with Israel, and served them. So the Syrians feared to help the children of Ammon any more.
ויראו כל־המלכים עבדי הדדעזר כי נגפו לפני ישׂראל וישׁלמו את־ישׂראל ויעבדום ויראו ארם להושׁיע עוד את־בני עמון - 2 Kings 12 8:9 - So Hazael went to meet him, and took a present with him, even of every good thing of Damascus, forty camels ' burden, and came and stood before him, and said , Thy son Benhadad king of Syria hath sent me to thee, saying , Shall I recover of this disease ?
וילך חזאל לקראתו ויקח מנחה בידו וכל־טוב דמשׂק משׂא ארבעים גמל ויבא ויעמד לפניו ויאמר בנך בנ־הדד מלכ־ארם שׁלחני אליך לאמר האחיה מחלי זה - 1 Chronicles 13 18:8 - Likewise from Tibhath, and from Chun, cities of Hadarezer, brought David very much brass, wherewith Solomon made the brasen sea, and the pillars, and the vessels of brass.
ומטבחת ומכון ערי הדדעזר לקח דויד נחשׁת רבה מאד בה עשׂה שׁלמה את־ים הנחשׁת ואת־העמודים ואת כלי הנחשׁת - 1 Kings 11 11:19 - And Hadad found great favour in the sight of Pharaoh, so that he gave him to wife the sister of his own wife, the sister of Tahpenes the queen.
וימצא הדד חן בעיני פרעה מאד ויתנ־לו אשׁה את־אחות אשׁתו אחות תחפניס הגבירה - 1 Kings 11 20:9 - Wherefore he said unto the messengers of Benhadad, Tell my lord the king, All that thou didst send for to thy servant at the first I will do : but this thing I may not do . And the messengers departed , and brought him word again .
