- Jeremiah 24 19:13 - And the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses of the kings of Judah, shall be defiled as the place of Tophet, because of all the houses upon whose roofs they have burned incense unto all the host of heaven, and have poured out drink offerings unto other gods.
והיו בתי ירושׁלם ובתי מלכי יהודה כמקום התפת הטמאים לכל הבתים אשׁר קטרו על־גגתיהם לכל צבא השׁמים והסך נסכים לאלהים אחרים - Ezekiel 26 20:31 - For when ye offer your gifts, when ye make your sons to pass through the fire, ye pollute yourselves with all your idols, even unto this day : and shall I be enquired of by you, O house of Israel ? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be enquired of by you.
ובשׂאת מתנתיכם בהעביר בניכם באשׁ אתם נטמאים לכל־גלוליכם עד־היום ואני אדרשׁ לכם בית ישׂראל חי־אני נאם אדני יהוה אמ־אדרשׁ לכם - Ezekiel 26 20:30 - Wherefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD ; Are ye polluted after the manner of your fathers ? and commit ye whoredom after their abominations ?
לכן אמר אל־בית ישׂראל כה אמר אדני יהוה הבדרך אבותיכם אתם נטמאים ואחרי שׁקוציהם אתם זנים - Leviticus 3 11:8 - Of their flesh shall ye not eat , and their carcase shall ye not touch ; they are unclean to you.
