- Isaiah 23 36:1 - Now it came to pass in the fourteenth year of king Hezekiah, that Sennacherib king of Assyria came up against all the defenced cities of Judah, and took them.
ויהי בארבע עשׂרה שׁנה למלך חזקיהו עלה סנחריב מלכ־אשׁור על כל־ערי יהודה הבצרות ויתפשׂם - 2 Chronicles 14 32:9 - After this did Sennacherib king of Assyria send his servants to Jerusalem, unto Hezekiah king of Judah, and unto all Judah that were at Jerusalem, saying ,
אחר זה שׁלח סנחריב מלכ־אשׁור עבדיו ירושׁלימה והוא על־לכישׁ וכל־ממשׁלתו עמו על־יחזקיהו מלך יהודה ועל־כל־יהודה אשׁר בירושׁלם לאמר - 2 Kings 12 20:6 - And I will add unto thy days fifteen years ; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria ; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake.
והספתי על־ימיך חמשׁ עשׂרה שׁנה ומכף מלכ־אשׁור אצילך ואת העיר הזאת וגנותי על־העיר הזאת למעני ולמען דוד עבדי - Ezra 15 6:22 - And kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with joy : for the LORD had made them joyful , and turned the heart of the king of Assyria unto them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.
ויעשׂו חג־מצות שׁבעת ימים בשׂמחה כי שׂמחם יהוה והסב לב מלכ־אשׁור עליהם לחזק ידיהם במלאכת בית־האלהים אלהי ישׂראל - 2 Kings 12 19:6 - And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say to your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not afraid of the words which thou hast heard , with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.
