- Genesis 1 31:24 - And God came to Laban the Syrian in a dream by night, and said unto him, Take heed that thou speak not to Jacob either good or bad.
ויבא אלהים אל־לבן הארמי בחלם הלילה ויאמר לו השׁמר לך פנ־תדבר עמ־יעקב מטוב עד־רע - Jeremiah 24 44:25 - Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying ; Ye and your wives have both spoken with your mouths, and fulfilled with your hand, saying , We will surely perform our vows that we have vowed , to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her: ye will surely accomplish your vows, and surely perform your vows.
כה־אמר יהוה־צבאות אלהי ישׂראל לאמר אתם ונשׁיכם ותדברנה בפיכם ובידיכם מלאתם לאמר עשׂה נעשׂה את־נדרינו אשׁר נדרנו לקטר למלכת השׁמים ולהסך לה נסכים הקים תקימנה את־נדריכם ועשׂה תעשׂינה את־נדריכם - Numbers 4 27:8 - And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying , If a man die , and have no son, then ye shall cause his inheritance to pass unto his daughter.
ואל־בני ישׂראל תדבר לאמר אישׁ כי־ימות ובן אין לו והעברתם את־נחלתו לבתו - 1 Chronicles 13 17:26 - And now, LORD, thou art God, and hast promised this goodness unto thy servant :
ועתה יהוה אתה־הוא האלהים ותדבר על־עבדך הטובה הזאת - 1 Kings 11 14:5 - And the LORD said unto Ahijah, Behold, the wife of Jeroboam cometh to ask a thing of thee for her son ; for he is sick : thus and thus shalt thou say unto her: for it shall be, when she cometh in , that she shall feign herself to be another woman.
