- Joshua 6 22:9 - And the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh returned , and departed from the children of Israel out of Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan, to go unto the country of Gilead, to the land of their possession, whereof they were possessed , according to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
וישׁבו וילכו בני־ראובן ובני־גד וחצי שׁבט המנשׁה מאת בני ישׂראל משׁלה אשׁר בארצ־כנען ללכת אל־ארץ הגלעד אל־ארץ אחזתם אשׁר נאחזו־בה על־פי יהוה ביד־משׁה - Genesis 1 47:27 - And Israel dwelt in the land of Egypt, in the country of Goshen ; and they had possessions therein, and grew , and multiplied exceedingly.
וישׁב ישׂראל בארץ מצרים בארץ גשׁן ויאחזו בה ויפרו וירבו מאד - Genesis 1 34:10 - And ye shall dwell with us: and the land shall be before you ; dwell and trade ye therein, and get you possessions therein.
ואתנו תשׁבו והארץ תהיה לפניכם שׁבו וסחרוה והאחזו בה - Joshua 6 22:19 - Notwithstanding, if the land of your possession be unclean, then pass ye over unto the land of the possession of the LORD, wherein the LORD'S tabernacle dwelleth , and take possession among us: but rebel not against the LORD, nor rebel against us, in building you an altar beside the altar of the LORD our God.
ואך אמ־טמאה ארץ אחזתכם עברו לכם אל־ארץ אחזת יהוה אשׁר שׁכנ־שׁם משׁכן יהוה והאחזו בתוכנו וביהוה אל־תמרדו ואתנו אל־תמרדו בבנתכם לכם מזבח מבלעדי מזבח יהוה אלהינו - Ecclesiastes 21 9:12 - For man also knoweth not his time : as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare ; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.
