- Jeremiah 24 7:23 - But this thing commanded I them, saying , Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people : and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.
כי אמ־את־הדבר הזה צויתי אותם לאמר שׁמעו בקולי והייתי לכם לאלהים ואתם תהיו־לי לעם והלכתם בכל־הדרך אשׁר אצוה אתכם למען ייטב לכם - 2 Samuel 10 14:8 - And the king said unto the woman, Go to thine house, and I will give charge concerning thee.
ויאמר המלך אל־האשׁה לכי לביתך ואני אצוה עליך - 2 Chronicles 14 7:13 - If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people ;
הן אעצר השׁמים ולא־יהיה מטר והנ־אצוה על־חגב לאכול הארץ ואמ־אשׁלח דבר בעמי - Jeremiah 24 32:13 - And I charged Baruch before them, saying ,
ואצוה את ברוך לעיניהם לאמר צָוָה Appoint, (for-)bid, (gi.. [8762] בָּרוּךְ Baruch עַיִן Affliction, outward app.. אָמַר "to say/speak/utter" Answer, appoint, avouch.. [8800] - Amos 30 9:3 - And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them:
ואמ־יחבאו בראשׁ הכרמל משׁם אחפשׂ ולקחתים ואמ־יסתרו מנגד עיני בקרקע הים משׁם אצוה את־הנחשׁ ונשׁכם
