- Deuteronomy 5 8:5 - Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the LORD thy God chasteneth thee.
וידעת עמ־לבבך כי כאשׁר ייסר אישׁ את־בנו יהוה אלהיך מיסרך - Jeremiah 24 41:10 - Then Ishmael carried away captive all the residue of the people that were in Mizpah, even the king's daughters, and all the people that remained in Mizpah, whom Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had committed to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam : and Ishmael the son of Nethaniah carried them away captive , and departed to go over to the Ammonites .
וישׁב ישׁמעאל את־כל־שׁארית העם אשׁר במצפה את־בנות המלך ואת־כל־העם הנשׁארים במצפה אשׁר הפקיד נבוזראדן רב־טבחים את־גדליהו בנ־אחיקם וישׁבם ישׁמעאל בנ־נתניה וילך לעבר אל־בני עמון - 2 Chronicles 14 24:22 - Thus Joash the king remembered not the kindness which Jehoiada his father had done to him, but slew his son.
