- 2 Samuel 10 4:8 - And they brought the head of Ishbosheth unto David to Hebron, and said to the king, Behold the head of Ishbosheth the son of Saul thine enemy , which sought thy life ; and the LORD hath avenged my lord the king this day of Saul, and of his seed.
ויבאו את־ראשׁ אישׁ־בשׁת אל־דוד חברון ויאמרו אל־המלך הנה־ראשׁ אישׁ־בשׁת בנ־שׁאול איבך אשׁר בקשׁ את־נפשׁך ויתן יהוה לאדני המלך נקמות היום הזה משׁאול ומזרעו - 2 Samuel 10 4:4 - And Jonathan, Saul's son, had a son that was lame of his feet. He was five years old when the tidings came of Saul and Jonathan out of Jezreel, and his nurse took him up , and fled : and it came to pass, as she made haste to flee , that he fell , and became lame . And his name was Mephibosheth.
וליהונתן בנ־שׁאול בן נכה רגלים בנ־חמשׁ שׁנים היה בבא שׁמעת שׁאול ויהונתן מיזרעאל ותשׂאהו אמנתו ותנס ויהי בחפזה לנוס ויפל ויפסח ושׁמו מפיבשׁת - 2 Samuel 10 4:2 - And Saul's son had two men that were captains of bands : the name of the one was Baanah, and the name of the other Rechab, the sons of Rimmon a Beerothite, of the children of Benjamin :
ושׁני אנשׁים שׂרי־גדודים היו בנ־שׁאול שׁם האחד בענה ושׁם השׁני רכב בני רמון הבארתי מבני בנימן כי גמ־בארות תחשׁב על־בנימן - 2 Samuel 10 2:12 - And Abner the son of Ner, and the servants of Ishbosheth the son of Saul, went out from Mahanaim to Gibeon.
ויצא אבנר בנ־נר ועבדי אישׁ־בשׁת בנ־שׁאול ממחנים גבעונה - 2 Samuel 10 19:24 - And Mephibosheth the son of Saul came down to meet the king, and had neither dressed his feet, nor trimmed his beard, nor washed his clothes, from the day the king departed until the day he came again in peace.
ומפבשׁת בנ־שׁאול ירד לקראת המלך ולא־עשׂה רגליו ולא־עשׂה שׂפמו ואת־בגדיו לא כבס למנ־היום לכת המלך עד־היום אשׁר־בא בשׁלום
