- 2 Samuel 10 2:12 - And Abner the son of Ner, and the servants of Ishbosheth the son of Saul, went out from Mahanaim to Gibeon.
ויצא אבנר בנ־נר ועבדי אישׁ־בשׁת בנ־שׁאול ממחנים גבעונה - 2 Samuel 10 4:8 - And they brought the head of Ishbosheth unto David to Hebron, and said to the king, Behold the head of Ishbosheth the son of Saul thine enemy , which sought thy life ; and the LORD hath avenged my lord the king this day of Saul, and of his seed.
ויבאו את־ראשׁ אישׁ־בשׁת אל־דוד חברון ויאמרו אל־המלך הנה־ראשׁ אישׁ־בשׁת בנ־שׁאול איבך אשׁר בקשׁ את־נפשׁך ויתן יהוה לאדני המלך נקמות היום הזה משׁאול ומזרעו - 2 Samuel 10 3:8 - Then was Abner very wroth for the words of Ishbosheth, and said , Am I a dog's head, which against Judah do shew kindness this day unto the house of Saul thy father, to his brethren, and to his friends, and have not delivered thee into the hand of David, that thou chargest me to day with a fault concerning this woman ?
ויחר לאבנר מאד על־דברי אישׁ־בשׁת ויאמר הראשׁ כלב אנכי אשׁר ליהודה היום אעשׂה־חסד עמ־בית שׁאול אביך אל־אחיו ואל־מרעהו ולא המציתך ביד־דוד ותפקד עלי עון האשׁה היום - 2 Samuel 10 3:14 - And David sent messengers to Ishbosheth Saul's son, saying , Deliver me my wife Michal, which I espoused to me for an hundred foreskins of the Philistines.
וישׁלח דוד מלאכים אל־אישׁ־בשׁת בנ־שׁאול לאמר תנה את־אשׁתי את־מיכל אשׁר ארשׂתי לי במאה ערלות פלשׁתים - 2 Samuel 10 2:10 - Ishbosheth Saul's son was forty years old when he began to reign over Israel, and reigned two years. But the house of Judah followed David.
