- Exodus 2 32:1 - And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up , make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
וירא העם כי־בשׁשׁ משׁה לרדת מנ־ההר ויקהל העם על־אהרן ויאמרו אליו קום עשׂה־לנו אלהים אשׁר ילכו לפנינו כי־זה משׁה האישׁ אשׁר העלנו מארץ מצרים לא ידענו מה־היה לו - Exodus 2 32:23 - For they said unto me, Make us gods, which shall go before us: for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
ויאמרו לי עשׂה־לנו אלהים אשׁר ילכו לפנינו כי־זה משׁה האישׁ אשׁר העלנו מארץ מצרים לא ידענו מה־היה לו - Judges 7 6:13 - And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying , Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt ? but now the LORD hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.
ויאמר אליו גדעון בי אדני וישׁ יהוה עמנו ולמה מצאתנו כל־זאת ואיה כל־נפלאתיו אשׁר ספרו־לנו אבותינו לאמר הלא ממצרים העלנו יהוה ועתה נטשׁנו יהוה ויתננו בכפ־מדין
