- Exodus 2 32:1 - And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up , make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
וירא העם כי־בשׁשׁ משׁה לרדת מנ־ההר ויקהל העם על־אהרן ויאמרו אליו קום עשׂה־לנו אלהים אשׁר ילכו לפנינו כי־זה משׁה האישׁ אשׁר העלנו מארץ מצרים לא ידענו מה־היה לו - 2 Samuel 10 1:4 - And David said unto him, How went the matter ? I pray thee, tell me. And he answered , That the people are fled from the battle, and many of the people also are fallen and dead ; and Saul and Jonathan his son are dead also.
ויאמר אליו דוד מה־היה הדבר הגד־נא לי ויאמר אשׁר־נס העם מנ־המלחמה וגמ־הרבה נפל מנ־העם וימתו וגם שׁאול ויהונתן בנו מתו - Exodus 2 32:23 - For they said unto me, Make us gods, which shall go before us: for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
ויאמרו לי עשׂה־לנו אלהים אשׁר ילכו לפנינו כי־זה משׁה האישׁ אשׁר העלנו מארץ מצרים לא ידענו מה־היה לו - 1 Samuel 9 4:16 - And the man said unto Eli, I am he that came out of the army, and I fled to day out of the army. And he said , What is there done, my son ?
ויאמר האישׁ אל־עלי אנכי הבא מנ־המערכה ואני מנ־המערכה נסתי היום ויאמר מה־היה הדבר בני - Lamentations 25 5:1 - Remember , O LORD, what is come upon us: consider , and behold our reproach.
