- Judges 7 6:13 - And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying , Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt ? but now the LORD hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.
ויאמר אליו גדעון בי אדני וישׁ יהוה עמנו ולמה מצאתנו כל־זאת ואיה כל־נפלאתיו אשׁר ספרו־לנו אבותינו לאמר הלא ממצרים העלנו יהוה ועתה נטשׁנו יהוה ויתננו בכפ־מדין - Jeremiah 24 2:28 - But where are thy gods that thou hast made thee? let them arise , if they can save thee in the time of thy trouble : for according to the number of thy cities are thy gods, O Judah.
