- Nehemiah 16 5:15 - But the former governors that had been before me were chargeable unto the people, and had taken of them bread and wine, beside forty shekels of silver ; yea, even their servants bare rule over the people : but so did not I, because of the fear of God.
והפחות הראשׁנים אשׁר־לפני הכבידו על־העם ויקחו מהם בלחם ויין אחר כספ־שׁקלים ארבעים גם נעריהם שׁלטו על־העם ואני לא־עשׂיתי כן מפני יראת אלהים - Judges 7 13:14 - She may not eat of any thing that cometh of the vine, neither let her drink wine or strong drink, nor eat any unclean thing: all that I commanded her let her observe .
מכל אשׁר־יצא מגפן היין לא תאכל ויין ושׁכר אל־תשׁת וכל־טמאה אל־תאכל כל אשׁר־צויתיה תשׁמר - Psalms 19 104:15 - And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine , and bread which strengtheneth man's heart.
ויין ישׂמח לבב־אנושׁ להצהיל פנים משׁמן ולחם לבב־אנושׁ יסעד - 2 Chronicles 14 2:10 - And, behold, I will give to thy servants, the hewers that cut timber, twenty thousand measures of beaten wheat, and twenty thousand measures of barley, and twenty thousand baths of wine, and twenty thousand baths of oil.
והנה לחטבים לכרתי העצים נתתי חטים מכות לעבדיך כרים עשׂרים אלף ושׂערים כרים עשׂרים אלף ויין בתים עשׂרים אלף ושׁמן בתים עשׂרים אלף - 2 Chronicles 14 11:11 - And he fortified the strong holds, and put captains in them, and store of victual, and of oil and wine.
