- Jeremiah 24 42:16 - Then it shall come to pass, that the sword, which ye feared, shall overtake you there in the land of Egypt, and the famine, whereof ye were afraid , shall follow close after you there in Egypt ; and there ye shall die .
והיתה החרב אשׁר אתם יראים ממנה שׁם תשׂיג אתכם בארץ מצרים והרעב אשׁר־אתם דאגים ממנו שׁם ידבק אחריכם מצרים ושׁם תמתו - Genesis 1 43:1 - And the famine was sore in the land.
והרעב כבד בארץ רָעָב Dearth, famine, famish.. כָּבֵד (so) great, grievous, h.. אֶרֶץ earth × common, country, eart.. - Genesis 1 41:56 - And the famine was over all the face of the earth : And Joseph opened all the storehouses, and sold unto the Egyptians ; and the famine waxed sore in the land of Egypt.
והרעב היה על כל־פני הארץ ויפתח יוסף את־כל־אשׁר בהם וישׁבר למצרים ויחזק הרעב בארץ מצרים - Isaiah 23 51:19 - These two things are come unto thee; who shall be sorry for thee? desolation, and destruction, and the famine, and the sword : by whom shall I comfort thee?
שׁתים הנה קראתיך מי ינוד לך השׁד והשׁבר והרעב והחרב מי אנחמך - Jeremiah 24 32:24 - Behold the mounts, they are come unto the city to take it; and the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans, that fight against it, because of the sword, and of the famine, and of the pestilence : and what thou hast spoken is come to pass; and, behold, thou seest it.
הנה הסללות באו העיר ללכדה והעיר נתנה ביד הכשׂדים הנלחמים עליה מפני החרב והרעב והדבר ואשׁר דברת היה והנך ראה
