- 2 Kings 12 17:32 - So they feared the LORD, and made unto themselves of the lowest of them priests of the high places, which sacrificed for them in the houses of the high places.
ויהיו יראים את־יהוה ויעשׂו להם מקצותם כהני במות ויהיו עשׂים להם בבית הבמות - Jeremiah 24 42:11 - Be not afraid of the king of Babylon, of whom ye are afraid ; be not afraid of him, saith the LORD : for I am with you to save you, and to deliver you from his hand.
אל־תיראו מפני מלך בבל אשׁר־אתם יראים מפניו אל־תיראו ממנו נאמ־יהוה כי־אתכם אני להושׁיע אתכם ולהציל אתכם מידו - Nehemiah 16 6:9 - For they all made us afraid , saying , Their hands shall be weakened from the work, that it be not done . Now therefore, O God, strengthen my hands.
כי כלם מיראים אותנו לאמר ירפו ידיהם מנ־המלאכה ולא תעשׂה ועתה חזק את־ידי - 2 Kings 12 17:41 - So these nations feared the LORD, and served their graven images, both their children, and their children's children : as did their fathers, so do they unto this day.
ויהיו הגוים האלה יראים את־יהוה ואת־פסיליהם היו עבדים גמ־בניהם ובני בניהם כאשׁר עשׂו אבתם הם עשׂים עד היום הזה - 2 Kings 12 17:34 - Unto this day they do after the former manners : they fear not the LORD, neither do they after their statutes, or after their ordinances, or after the law and commandment which the LORD commanded the children of Jacob, whom he named Israel ;
