- 2 Kings 12 7:9 - Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace : if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come , that we may go and tell the king's household.
ויאמרו אישׁ אל־רעהו לא־כן אנחנו עשׂים היום הזה יומ־בשׂרה הוא ואנחנו מחשׁים וחכינו עד־אור הבקר ומצאנו עוון ועתה לכו ונבאה ונגידה בית המלך - Jeremiah 24 20:10 - For I heard the defaming of many, fear on every side. Report , say they, and we will report it. All my familiars watched for my halting , saying, Peradventure he will be enticed , and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on him.
