- Jeremiah 24 32:42 - For thus saith the LORD ; Like as I have brought all this great evil upon this people, so will I bring upon them all the good that I have promised them.
כי־כה אמר יהוה כאשׁר הבאתי אל־העם הזה את כל־הרעה הגדולה הזאת כן אנכי מביא עליהם את־כל־הטובה אשׁר אנכי דבר עליהם - Jeremiah 24 16:10 - And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt shew this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, Wherefore hath the LORD pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity ? or what is our sin that we have committed against the LORD our God ?
והיה כי תגיד לעם הזה את כל־הדברים האלה ואמרו אליך על־מה דבר יהוה עלינו את כל־הרעה הגדולה הזאת ומה עוננו ומה חטאתנו אשׁר חטאנו ליהוה אלהינו - Jeremiah 24 44:2 - Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel ; Ye have seen all the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, and upon all the cities of Judah ; and, behold, this day they are a desolation, and no man dwelleth therein,
כה־אמר יהוה צבאות אלהי ישׂראל אתם ראיתם את כל־הרעה אשׁר הבאתי על־ירושׁלם ועל כל־ערי יהודה והנם חרבה היום הזה ואין בהם יושׁב - Nehemiah 16 13:27 - Shall we then hearken unto you to do all this great evil, to transgress against our God in marrying strange wives ?
ולכם הנשׁמע לעשׂת את כל־הרעה הגדולה הזאת למעל באלהינו להשׁיב נשׁים נכריות - Jeremiah 24 36:3 - It may be that the house of Judah will hear all the evil which I purpose to do unto them; that they may return every man from his evil way ; that I may forgive their iniquity and their sin.
אולי ישׁמעו בית יהודה את כל־הרעה אשׁר אנכי חשׁב לעשׂות להם למען ישׁובו אישׁ מדרכו הרעה וסלחתי לעונם ולחטאתם
